There are only a few spinning wheels in oldschool Runescape that are actually useful when it comes to spinning large amounts of flax, wool and other things. These spinning wheels are located in Lumbridge, Seers Village and Neitiznot.
This guide on the best places to spin rope and bow string in 2007 Runescape will cover the 3 best locations given above, leaving you to decide which one is best for you.
The Lumbridge spinning wheel is the easiest to access and is arguably the best location to spin a large amount of flax or other material in a short(ish) amount of time.
The bank and spinning wheel are only 20 or so steps between and it only takes 3/4 clicks back and forth (click the bank, the stairs and the wheel). What turns this flax spinning location into an arguable place is the staircase and closing door between the bank and spinning wheel.
The Seers’ Village spinning wheel isn’t as effective as Lumbridge or Neitiznot if you are looking to spin a large amount of flax from your bank. That is because of the larger distance between banks along side the ladder you must climb.
The Seers spinning wheel is located in between the bank and the flax picking field. It may not be a useful spinning wheel in OSRS if you are travelling to and from the bank. However it makes for a convenient flax spinning wheel if you want to spin your flax on the way to the bank from the field.
Neitiznot makes for a fantastic spinning location if you have a large sum of flax inside the bank and want it spun relatively quickly.
Sadly not everyone can use this spinning wheel. To access the island of Neitiznot you first need to have started or completed the Fremennik Isles quest.
In short, if you are looking to spin a tonne of flax already in your bank in a short time, head to Neitiznot. If you haven’t started or completed the Fremenik Isles quest, use the Lumbridge spinning wheel. Finally, if you want to collect, spin then bank flax, Seers’ village is your best bet.
