Can I still get back into Destiny after break and without friends playing it?

I played Destiny when it was initially released on Xbox one and I played it right up until Halo: MCC was launched. After accepting that Halo won’t be my favourite title this year, I’ve decided to pop Destiny back in the tray.

I enjoyed Destiny and managed to reach level 27 before stopping. I want to get back into it, sadly the friends I played with it are no longer interested in playing the game so I continue to play the crucible solo as I have no one to raid or to hard missions with.

Thorn, A Light in the Dark, Depleted Hand Cannon guide

Exotic bounties make me cry!

I even started a Game Guide on the exotic bounty I have (still not completed) for the hand cannon Thorn. I’m on 400/500 void kills on Multiplayer and afterwards I need to do something complicated on the Moon strike, something I can’t do alone.  Is Destiny a game I can play for hours alone or do I need to find some friendly fellows to be able to get the most out of it?

I enjoy the PvP part of the game, but i also want to enjoy the rest of it and I feel like I’m wasting my time because there is no chance of completing the raid or difficult strikes without a group of friends that can communicate.

Is Destiny a game a player can get back into after not playing it and without a group of friends to complete things with? I need to know if I am wasting my time or not!

Thanks for reading my forever alone post! Until next time,
Game hard or go home!
